For now, we are Jon, Melinda, Anna, Ryan, and doggie Cinnamon. But all of that is about to change in just a few short months (around 6 to be exact!). We are about to become a family of 6 (plus Cinnamon) instead.
Jon– is most proud to be Melinda’s husband and the father to Anna and Ryan. By day, he runs the Digital Media/Digital Marketing (DM2) division at S&A Cherokee, a media and communications company based in Cary, N.C. By night, he is Ryan’s wrestling partner, Anna’s storyteller and Melinda’s confidant. Jon is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He is also a proud alumnus of Appalachian State, where he currently serves on the Board of Visitors. He enjoys college football and basketball, the Carolina Hurricanes and occasionally plays a decent round of golf.
Melinda— “thrilled-to-be-at-home” mom whose days include training, loving, kissing boo-boos, cooking dinner, laundry, watching BOZ with the kids, laundry, cooking, and laundry! I would not have it any other way.
Anna– our five year old, is one of the best big sisters around. Anna loves playing pretend and imagining all kinds of things (which usually involve her being charge of something or someone). Anna has a God-given heart full of compassion and is excited about being the oldest child in our family, even after the adoption is finalized.
Ryan–our two year old who is two in every sense of the word. He is usually a tough little guy but can easily get his feelings hurt. He enjoys spending his days playing trucks and wrestling with anything that is still long enough for him to tackle.
Cinnamon–our lovely old lady who will turn 13 in November! She spends her days on the floor catching naps and avoiding trucks and trains.
